After this class, you will be able to:
- Recognize the elements of intentional torts (e.g. trespass, false imprisonment, assault and battery, etc.)
- Recall the elements of negligence and their applications (e.g. automobile accidents, slip and falls)
- Distinguish the elements of defamation (libel and slander) and the different torts involving privacy rights
- Describe the concept of strict liability and its application
- Comprehend the different causes of action for product liability cases
- Identify and apply defenses to torts
