John Kailey

John Kailey has 20 years of Project Management experience, and has been a PMP since 2000. He is currently employed at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Project Manager and has taught Experiential Learning classes for eight years. John is also a retired US Army Colonel, having served a tour in Iraq.

Michael G. Martin is an internationally recognized subject matter expert and thought leader with extensive experience in the areas of Project Program & Portfolio Management (PPPM), Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (EGRC), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Organizational Change Management. He is currently the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) Leader for Spirent™ Communications. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of the M2 Consulting Group, Ltd. Prior to his role at Spirent™, Michael led global PPPM and EGRC/ERM initiatives at some of the most recognized organizations in the world, including IBM, Arthur Andersen LLP, KPMG LLP, and Microsoft Corporation.

Michael is a frequent speaker to professional organizations, companies, and universities and has been published extensively on these subjects, including his debut book -- Delivering Project Excellence with the Statement of Work, 2nd Edition (Management Concepts, Inc. 2010) -- Mandarin Chinese version, 2011. www.phei.com.cn. He is also author of The Government Manager's Guide to the Statement of Work (Management Concepts, Inc., 2014) and Federal Statements of Work: A Practical Guide (Management Concepts, Inc. May 2008) and contributing author on the, Field Guide to Project Management, 2nd Edition (Dr. David Cleland, Editor, John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 2004), The 77 Deadly Sins of Project Management (Management Concepts, Inc 2009) and How to Write a Statement of Work, 6th Edition (Peter S. Cole and Michael G. Martin, Management Concepts, Inc. 2012). He has held numerous positions within the Project Management Institute (PMI®) including past President and Chair of the Atlanta Chapter, PMP exam development committee member, Director of Public Relations, PMI® Risk Management SIG, and member of the PMI® Research Membership Advisory Group.

Dr. Matthew Muga is a Senior Technology Leader and Educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in Lean Continuous Improvement, IT Program & Project Management, and Strategic Technology Planning focused on driving Transformation. He received his PhD in Information Systems & Technology from Claremont Graduate University where he was a Jones Fellow. He also holds an MS from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Technology and an MS from the University of San Diego School of Business in Global Leadership. Prior to that, he attended the University of Redlands and UC San Diego where he obtained undergraduate degrees in Information Systems and Psychology.

Matthew has held several Executive positions in the areas of Engineering Operations and IT for over a decade. He ran International IT Operations for multiple companies and has extensive field expertise having led complex, multimillion-dollar global IT projects on the ground in over 34 countries across six continents. He has lectured in both the academic and corporate arenas throughout the world. While within the Fortune 500, he taught numerous seminar and technical training classes in areas such as Technology Leadership, IT Project Management, International IT Operations, Application Development, Process Engineering, and Engineering Operations Management.

Matthew has worked for Customers such as Samsung, Apple, Nokia, Microsoft, Google, and Motorola and he is a long-standing member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Before Emory, he has served as Lecturer and Adjunct Professor in Information Systems at San Diego State University specializing in the areas of Systems Development and Project Management. When he is not at work, Matthew loves spending time with his family and friends, cooking, writing, exploring the Great State of Georgia, and enjoying life.





Tim Peek

Tim Peek, PMP, is an instructor, project manager and program manager with over 30 years of experience in many industries, including Information Technology, Insurance, Health Care, Human Resources, Marketing and Finance. He is able to blend practical insight into the classroom by applying real world examples to the course materials. An expert in organizational change management, program management, project management, and project lifecycle methodologies, he has taught hundreds of individuals globally including PMP and CAPM Exam preparation training. He has devoted the last fifteen years developing course materials and delivering training in the classroom and in virtual settings around the world. An award winning public speaker, he is able to keep the class entertaining and interactive to reinforce the class topics for better student retention.

Kevin Postich is a practicing Sr. Project Manager with Fiserv Corporation in Norcross, GA. There he leads projects employing best practices as outlined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to ensure success in all areas, as measured by project sponsors and key stakeholders. With over 25 years of experience managing complex Projects and Programs, Kevin Postich brings a wealth of knowledge into the classroom. He is a certified project manager (PMP), certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Newtown Square, PA. He has spent the last several years managing complex programs and various internal projects for Fortune 500 customers such as McDonalds Corporation, Ford Motor Company as well as the U.S. government.

Kevin's background is quite diverse. He has worked for large service firms such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and General Electric (GE), as well as technology and manufacturing firms like Fiserv and General Dynamics. From initiation to closure Kevin will outline program and project planning techniques including scope & requirements gathering, work breakdown structures, triple-constraint and project variances, as well as risk management and quality assurance techniques. Kevin enjoys bringing difficult concepts into easy-to-understand, everyday language so those students choosing this great career path will not only continue as a project manager but thrive as a project manager!





Kristy Pruitt

Kristy Pruitt has established a progressive record of success directing medium-to-large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives significantly impacting business and bottom-line goals. She is known as a change driver with a holistic perspective and a strong focus on process development/improvement (Waterfall, Agile/SAFe, Hybrid). Her forte is enabling project delivery processes, identifying and resolving critical issues, leading enterprise implementation initiatives, sourcing key internal program/project opportunities, and leading high-impact teams.

Currently, Kristy is the Sr. Director, IT Delivery Methods and Tools for the Global Technology Portfolio Management Group at Marriott International. She is accountable for establishing cross-functional process initiatives including PPM tool process integration. Kristy also leads large-scale, global initiatives impacting end-to-end delivery and ensures that delivery process outcomes are in harmony with the organization’s strategic goals.





Noel Ransom

Noel Ransom's background includes over 15 years of process improvement in the financial services and logistics industries. Noel has conducted and advised on numerous process improvement projects and speaks on topics related to Lean Six Sigma and project management. She has been a consultant for several companies in Atlanta with specialties in Kaizen facilitation, data analytics, control systems and statistical analysis.

Noel is double certified as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from SunTrust Bank (now Truist) and Georgia Institute of Technology (Ga Tech). She holds a dual Master of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Management and has also earned the designation of PMP. In her spare time, she is completing her Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialty in Project Management and Operational Excellence.
