Wendy Bojnowski

Wen is an experienced nonprofit and corporate wellness consultant and coach, university health coach program instructor and mentor and health promotion facilitator. She endorses an integrative approach to health and well-being that includes mind-body practices that support the whole person within his or her unique context. Wendy provides individual and group coaching and instruction in mindfulness and breath work, facilitates workshops on health topics and teaches chair-based and traditional mat yoga classes. Through her business, MindBody Flourish, Wendy designs and delivers wellness programs that promote an organizational culture of health within small to medium-size non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Wen was in the second cohort of the Emory Health Coach Certificate program. She is a certified Lay Leader for diabetes and chronic disease self-management programs and a Lifestyle Coach for the CDC’s year-long Diabetes Prevention Program.  She is a member of the Community Coalition Board with Morehouse School of Medicine's Prevention Research Center. Prior to her career in health and wellness, Wen coordinated the employee volunteer program and charitable giving efforts for a large corporate law firm in Atlanta and was the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization.

Madison has been building healthier lives for over 25 years. She has a background directing policy, programs, and partnerships for non-profit organizations addressing the needs of patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, employers, and communities to measurably improve health outcomes.  Inspired by that work and the triumphs she witnessed, Madison dove into health coaching, exercise training, and teaching.  She is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer, and intermittent Yoga Teacher.  She practices from multiple perspectives in coaching:  from within a concierge medical practice, for a corporate wellness provider, in private practice to individuals and small groups, and as mentor to fellow coaches.  She has been a teaching assistant and instructor in the Emory Health Coach Certificate program since graduating from the program herself in 2016, and has contributed to the curriculum’s development as the program has grown.

Madison grew up in the U.S. Army which took her around much of the world and across many cultures and communities.  She has two amazing sons, one awesome daughter-in-law, and now lives in Atlanta with her certified therapy dog-and-guru, Chip.




Lisa DuPree

Lisa DuPree has over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness field as a health and fitness specialist, master trainer, health educator and health and wellness coach. Ms. DuPree is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Lisa holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology. Ms. DuPree is currently the Director of the Health 1,2,3,4 Program in the Center for the Study of Human Health at Emory University, has a private coaching practice and is the host of the Midlife Mojo podcast. Her current focus is on education and implementation of evidence-based strategies that empower individuals to enhance health and optimize overall well-being.




Michael Healy

Mike Healy, Ed.D. has practiced meditation for 43 years, 35 years of which has been Mindfulness Meditation, and has taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programs since 1999 at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Athens Regional Medical Center's Mind Body Institute, and currently through the Loran Smith Center, Piedmont Athens Regional, Athens, Georgia.

Healy is certified to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He participated in this several year certification program, Oasis, under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder, and Dr. Saki Santorelli, director. Healy continues to further his training through attending multi-day mindfulness meditation retreats, workshops, and conferences. He is also a certified Integral Hatha Yoga instructor, RYT200.

Healy completed a doctorate in Adult Education at The University of Georgia, studying The Insight (Vipassana) Meditation Transformational Learning Process: A Phenomenological Study (2001). Mike lives in Athens Georgia with his wife Kathy and two cats Bennie and Henri.




Taylor Hooker

Taylor Hooker is a Health and Wellness Coach and Recreation Therapist. In her day job, she focuses on supporting health equity for veterans. She is a 4th year Ph.D. student at Clemson University and lecturer for several universities’ RT departments. Taylor’s studies center around nonpharmacological approaches for veterans health and wellness. As a Board Certified health coach and RT, Taylor blends a her style of coaching and the APIED process to best serve her clients.

Sonia has been helping professional women achieve successful health and fitness outcomes for over 15 years. She holds a master's degree in Health and Wellness Coaching from Maryland University of Integrative Health, a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Clark Atlanta University.

Sonia is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and holds the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation and additional certifications in health and fitness coaching, including behavior change and weight management specializations from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Sonia actively coaches, facilitates training, and leads organizational change initiatives in her corporate work in human resources.  Sonia also works with private clients through her coaching practice. She enjoys developing video course content, strength training, hiking, and cycling with her husband in Bluffton, South Carolina



Kristin Joyner

Kristin Joyner holds a master's degree in yoga therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health and completed her health and wellness certification with Emory University in 2016. Kristin is an NBHWC and is in private practice, offering health coaching and yoga therapy. As the qualifying broker of Living Down South Realty, Kristin utilizes her coaching skills training and providing professional coaching and training.

Kristin believes one can build competency with the courage to try and the curiosity to learn. With a background in education and business, Kristin wandered into health and wellness intending to help people reach their maximum potential by guiding them towards manifesting their dreams and desires. Kristin resides on Lake Hartwell with her husband, Raymond. You can often find Kristin on a paddleboard enjoying the view.




Melodie Krecisz

Melodie is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She holds a BS in Nutrition Science from Purdue Global University and an MS in Exercise Physiology from PennWest California. She began her career working in a corporate wellness center and a drug and alcohol addiction center as a Fitness Specialist and Group Fitness Instructor.

She is currently a Health and Wellness Program Specialist at RVO Health. She has coaching experience with individuals & groups, in person and virtually. She has extensive knowledge of healthy habits, chronic conditions, exercise, nutrition, weight management, and stress reduction. She is incredibly passionate about health and wellness, integrative health, and lifestyle medicine. Her purpose is to empower individuals to take control of their life, live in alignment with their values, and feel strong, confident, and inspired.

Emily Marquis is a Clinical Health and Wellness Coach, board-certified NBC-HWC, and HR consultant. She is an RYT200 Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Consultant. Combining 20 years of human resources and health coaching experience, Emily works with individuals, groups, and organizations in support of creating healthy habits for a sustainable lifestyle change. Drawing from her professional training and personal health challenges; she has experience in preventing, reducing, and managing chronic illnesses from stress to sleep to weight loss to work-life balance. Emily also partners with clinics to create a village for clients to best support their well-being. In addition to private & group coaching, she is an Instructor at Emory University in their graduate Health Coaching certificate program, worked in a research study at Dartmouth College supporting young adults with Type 1 Diabetes, is an adjunct professor at Colorado Mountain College, and is on the faculty at MindBodyGreen in the NBHWC program. Emily has contributed to many media outlets and podcasts sharing knowledge and support in a fun and articulate way. Emily lives in Southwest, Colorado with her family and loves the balance between a good TV show and an outdoor adventure.

Elizabeth is a registered nurse with a career that has focused on integrative health and lifestyle. She has over 12-years in healthcare including, medical-telemetry nursing care, employee wellness programs, and medical education for Genova Diagnostics. She has experience in curriculum for health coaching programs where she led the incorporation of NBHWC standards and continuing education for nurses and other professionals. She has completed the Nurse Educator Graduate Certificate program and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at The Ohio State University.

Elizabeth is a Board-Certified Nurse Coach, a Certified Integrative Health Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine, a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, and one of the first NBHWC National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coaches. Collaborating with other coaches, she provided an NBHWC exam review course for the first six exams. Her continued training includes pursuing a certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. Prior to healthcare, she was a professional interior designer with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Her coaching programs through Enjoy Living Wellness, LLC, encompasses the diversity of her career with a focus on wellbeing and life design for women.

Nicco is a holistic health and wellness coach, educator, and facilitator. She holds a MA in Holistic Health Education from John F. Kennedy University, a certificate as a Natural Chef and received her Health Coach Certificate from Emory University in 2018. She has a passion for health and wellness with the belief that each person should be able to live their best life. She has over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations, underserved communities, and the systems that serve them. These experiences solidified the understanding of meeting people where they are and knowing where you start is not where you have to finish.

Nicco began her coaching career in 2007 establishing her own business. She focused on meeting individuals where they were to make sustainable life changes with a focus on holistic health and well-being. Primarily focusing on clients transitioning from a Standard American Diet (SAD) to whole foods through vegetarian, vegan, gluten/allergy free, and other individualized ways of eating for health. In addition, Nicco has worked at a FQHC coaching patients and families within the medical group visits model to address chronic conditions including diabetes, AA pedi-obesity, and AA prenatal groups.

Nicco is currently coaching professionally with insurance members with hypertension and employees through employee wellness programs to achieve overall health and wellness, along with her private coaching practice Community-Wisdom. Nicco hopes to empower and motivate people to make positive changes that can change their lives. She works with people from an individual, behavioral, cultural, and social aspect. Working with individuals as a whole integrates a balance that establishes relationships based on respect, cooperation, empathy, and trust thus creating an environment that promotes and encourages change.
