COVID-19 Policies

COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing

  • Participants in all in-person classes at Emory Continuing Education are required upon entry to the ECE suite to show proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of class.
  • Participants must have completed a COVID-19 vaccine series with a vaccine authorized by the FDA or for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO).
  • Unvaccinated participants will be required to complete a negative PCR or antigen test within 48 hours before accessing campus. Home tests are not permitted.

Testing Cadence

In addition to testing within 48 hours of accessing campus, unvaccinated participants must conduct a test every 7 days throughout the duration of the course/program.

Beginning on March 21, 2022, masks will be optional for participants and visitors in the Emory Continuing Education suite except for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Emory resumes in-person programming March 31st. The health and safety of our members is our highest priority. OLLI will continue to require students to remain masked when attending in-person classes and events in the ECE Suite.

Participants that fail to provide the required documentation on the day of class or otherwise are noncompliant with Emory Continuing Education’s COVID-19 policy will not be eligible for a refund. However, transferring to a future session is permissible.
