OLLI Response to COVID-19

Update: March 10, 2020

Your health and safety are critically important to us, and recent data points indicate that individuals ages 60+, as well as those with serious medical conditions, are most at risk with regards to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Out of an abundance of caution for students, instructors and staff—and in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines—OLLI at Emory is canceling the remainder of the Short Session following the completion of this week’s classes on Friday, March 13. Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings are canceled until further notice.

Enrollment Services will soon begin processing prorated refunds for Short Session students equal to 50% of total tuition amounts paid; refunds will automatically be made to the original credit card used for payment. Although refunds will be handled as quickly as possible, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for processing due to the large volume of students. Enrollment Services may require additional information for students who paid via check; we will contact those students individually with more details.

OLLI at Emory is currently evaluating all options (including online classes) for the OLLI Long Session beginning April 6; additional information will be communicated as needed via email and at olli.emory.edu.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding; we look forward to seeing you back in class soon.
