Betty Pareja

Betty earned a bachelor's degree in economics and finance science from Universidad Tecnica de Oruro in her native Bolivia. She has been living in Atlanta for the past 15 years. Although she is an economist by profession, she chose to become a teacher by passion. Betty has been teaching Spanish for the past 20 years. She taught at Evening at Emory Continuing Education for 10 years. She still teaches private and group lessons at home. She is the co-author, along with Valerie Sander, of two Spanish books: "Avanza en tu Espanol" Level 3 and "Avanza entu Espanol" Level 4. While living in Portland, Oregon, she taught mathematics for Portland Community College General Education Development. She also worked as a medical Spanish Interpreter for Passport of Languages. Betty has also taught Oregon Driving Laws and U.S. Citizenship Requirements to Hispanics living in Oregon.
