Mark Bodnar

Mark S. Bodnar is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and Iyengar Certified yoga instructor. He holds degrees in Biology, Music Performance, Education, Mental Health Counseling and Exercise Science, and is currently an adjunct professor at Georgia State University. He has worked with clients and students with numerous health issues including anxiety/depression, arthritis, asthma, chronic back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, GERD, herniated discs/sciatica, hypertension, IBS, Parkinson's Disease, pulmonary fibrosis and scoliosis. Interacting with students and the enabling the inherent healing aspects in fitness and yoga are what Mark likes most about teaching and training. It provides an opportunity to help people discover something within themselves.

Mark is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys, backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, and whitewater sports; as well as a gifted musician who is actively involved with his church music ministry at The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Atlanta.
