Ali  Kazmi

Z. Ali Kazmi is a certified Management and Information Technology professional with over eighteen years of experience working for companies like Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), IBM, ThyssenKrupp, Xerox and McKesson Corporation. He's currently working for Scicom Infrastructure Services, an Atlanta based consulting firm, as Engagement Director. Mr. Kazmi has led multiple complex programs and projects to fruition in the US, Canada and Europe in myriad of industries including Health Care, Financial Services, Government, Engineering, Mergers & Acquisitions and Technology. He's has been involved in establishing new Program Management Offices (PMO) from scratch, as well as elevating the standard of existing PMOs. He is the recipient of the Certificate of Excellence from the Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal, for leading the FEMA Disaster Recovery Project, where he led the IBM, Dell, AT&T and Georgia Technology Authority teams.

Teaching comes naturally to Mr. Kazmi and as an instructor at Emory he has taught different courses, including Introduction to Project Management, Risk Management Tools & Techniques, Project Scope Tools & Techniques, Project Cost Tools & Techniques, Communications Tools & Techniques, Scheduling Tools & Techniques, SQL Level 1 and PMP Boot Camp. He's also one of the writers of current Project Management courses. Mr. Kazmi always makes an effort to bring the best of both worlds to his classes, by blending business world experiences with theory.
