Biography

Bob BahrBob served as a reporter, producer, and news executive for CBS News where he worked with Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Diane Sawyer and other important figures in broadcast journalism. He was nominated for a national Emmy award for his reporting in Central America. He later served as managing editor of CNN’s special projects documentary unit in Atlanta. As an independent documentary producer he produced a feature length documentary about the life of Ronald Reagan for MGM and Turner Broadcasting and award winning documentary projects for PBS’s News Hour, Entertainment Tonight and National Public Radio. In recent years he has developed several series of adult education programs on motion pictures and American culture including “The Movies That Made America,” “Hollywood and the Human Spirit” and, most recently, “The Daylight Dream – Reality and Fantasy At The Movies.”
