Biography

Lisa EthridgeLisa hails from Salem, Ohio. She began her education at Kent State University and moved to Atlanta in 1977. After completing her Bachelors in English Education at Mercer/Atlanta in 1978, she began her high school teaching career in Fulton County Schools. Besides teaching five English classes, her duties included yearbook sponsor and department chair among others. In 2003 she returned to Mercer/Atlanta to complete her Masters in English Education. After retiring from her job in public schools, Lisa works on a contract basis as a writer, editor, teacher, and/or photographer. Along the way, she has developed social media and blogging skills. In her spare time, Lisa is a North Fulton Master Gardener/University of Georgia Extension Volunteer and President of The Roswell Garden Club. She writes a monthly gardening column for My North Fulton. Her hobbies include reading, playing bridge, travel, and gardening.
