William Stanhope

Professor and Acting Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Touro University


William StanhopeBill is an adjunct professor in the Institute for Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness at the Saint Louis University School of Public Health. Over the past seven years he has developed and taught graduate classes in Disaster Preparedness, Risk Assessment, Public Health Disaster Preparedness, Case Studies of Epidemics and Disasters and Medical and Public Health Intelligence. Prior to joining the Institute for Biosecurity he was professor and acting dean of the School of Health Sciences at Mare Island campus of Touro University where he established an Institute for Bioterrorism Preparedness. He was trained as a Physician Assistant at Duke University and holds a graduate degree from the University of Nebraska.
