Biography

Sandy Bramlett

Sandy began her professional career teaching high school in Metro Atlanta, and in the late 70’s was recruited into the computer industry as a trainer and support analyst, later starting her own training business. In order to bring her life into more balance, Sandy looked to exercise, and found Callanetics. The benefits of this ‘new mind/body exercise’ were so remarkable that Sandy wanted to learn more. She became an ardent student of Callanetics, leaving the computer training business to open the first Callanetics Studio in Atlanta. In addition to Callanetics, Sandy is a Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) Black Belt Teacher, ChiWalking Instructor and a Certified Ageless Grace Educator and Trainer. In over 25 years as a mind/body wellness coach, Sandy has sought out techniques that are effective, body-honoring, creative and fun. Her philosophy is that exercise should feel good inside and out, that fitness means being able to move with ease, to learn new things, to rediscover and use your creative gifts, and to do what you love to do with confidence and joy - for a lifetime. Sandy teaches mindful movement classes in Metro Atlanta, and is a frequent presenter on the body/mind connection, creativity, stress management and personal empowerment.
