Who should take the Health Coach Certificate?

Students attending this certificate program should have a Bachelor’s degree and/or healthcare related experience. Examples include Registered Dietitian/Nutritionists, Fitness professionals & trainers, recent graduates in the Predictive Health minor program at Emory or anyone with a Bachelor’s degree contemplating a career change into a health profession.

Do any discounts apply to this program?

Yes, we offer standard discounts for Emory faculty, staff, students and alumni. Multiple discounts do not apply.

How long does it take to complete the Health Coach Certificate?

The Health Coach Certificate at Emory is a 4-month program, meeting on select weekend days and online sessions scheduled on weekday evenings.

Do you have mentored coaching practice?

Yes, we have professional health coach mentors who provide live and written feedback on your coaching skills.

What’s the class size?

We cap our classes at 24 students to maintain a high instructor/mentor-to-student ratio and, consequently, a better student experience.

What’s the deadline to apply?

ECE reviews applications on a rolling basis, so there’s no set deadline. However, since class sizes are capped at only twenty-four students, we recommend applying/registering as soon as you are able to mitigate the chances of missing out.
