Certified Internal Auditor Financing Options

The majority of financial aid programs such as the Pell Grant, Stafford Loan and the HOPE Grant are only available to students attending credit courses. Since Emory Continuing Education does not offer credit courses, we are unable to process these traditional forms of financial aid. There are, however, a few programs available through non-profit and for-profit organizations. Click on an option below:

Standard Commercial Loans

Before selecting a loan program, research which financing options best meet your needs. Be careful to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each available choice as these financial programs all vary in repayment timelines, APRs and more. Some additional factors to consider before financing include:

  • Investigate every financing option and program available.
  • Look for a plan that offers flexibility in repayments and charges a reasonable interest rate.
  • Borrow as little as possible.
  • Understand your personal credit history. Personal credit information can be found at the following agencies; Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union. Georgia residents can receive a free credit report from these credit agencies by calling the following numbers:

Sallie Mae Loans

Emory University may be able to assist you in acquiring a loan from Sallie Mae for continuing education training. To obtain a Sallie Mae loan, go to the Sallie Mae website to begin the application process.

NOTE: Some programs fill weeks prior to the start date. If you plan to apply for a Sallie Mae loan, begin your application early to allow adequate processing time.

Promissory Note Payment Program

Emory University offers registrants in certain Certificate Programs the opportunity to submit tuition payment in two installments. There is a one-time $100 processing fee to utilize the Promissory Note. For more information on our Promissory Note Payment Program, please contact us.

Military Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is available for eligible members and spouses of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines who wish to attend Emory Continuing Education. For further information, please contact Doug Solomon at dsolom3@emory.edu.
