Emory Paralegal Certificate Program Details


The Paralegal Certificate Program is a non-credit certificate program offered by Emory University's Professional Learning Programs. Admission into the program requires a 4-year undergraduate degree.

Paralegal Program Schedule Formats

We offer several certificate formats, but all are designed for working professionals with full-time jobs. Our paralegal program schedules allow you to earn your certificate in six months (three months in our Summer accelerated program) without interrupting your busy life. Below are the options we offer:

  • Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6 to 9pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6 to 9pm
  • Saturdays, 9am to 4pm, with an hour for lunch
  • Accelerated Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9am to 4pm, with an hour for lunch

Our paralegal curriculum is designed to qualify you for employment and to prepare you for the real-world situations you will face in the paralegal profession. Paralegal Learning Components

Our program utilizes three learning components in order to provide you with a well-rounded paralegal education.

Earning Your Certificate

There are two critical parts to earning your Emory Paralegal Certificate. In order to do so, students must:

  • Successfully complete all six modules of the program with a score of 70% or better in each class.
  • Achieve a score of 75% or better in the overall program.

NOTE: Class projects and exams are administered.

Cost

The program cost is $5995, which includes tuition, access to the Westlaw legal research database, and all textbooks and materials.
