Defensive Driving Course (National Safety Council)

Participants will acquire the mental skills and knowledge to become a defensive driver, by recognizing that safe driving is a matter of personal choices. Focus will be on the seven most common driving mistakes and how to overcome them, along with the five conditions that affect your driving skills / response time. Cost: $64 ($49 regular course fee + $15 supply fee for book). Limit 40 students.

Crunch Time Collage and Cards for Creative Souls

A one day workshop designed for busy but creative types. Don’t stress the end of year – join us to make small memory collages or greeting cards for gifts. Card/envelope templates are part of the hands-on and handouts. Chop, tear or cut memorabilia, photos or colorful scraps to recompose into new. Students bring pics, tix, snips to match with instructor’s unique papers, rubber stamps, coloring tools, etc. Bring your lunch and a snack! Supply fee: $10 (covers inks, tape/glue, and paper supply). Limited to 14 students.

OLLI Holiday Luncheon

Join OLLI members and celebrate the holidays! Enjoy a three course lunch and carolers (Arietha Lockhart, Sally Kann, Christopher Patton, and Aaron Villalobos) from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus as they sing holiday songs from all cultures about food, wine, and making merry for a “feast of carols”! 200 Years of Fashion

SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film celebrates fashion as a universal language, garments as important conduits of identity, and film as an immersive and memorable medium. SCAD FASH focuses on the future of fashion design, connecting conceptual to historical principles of dress — whether ceremonial, celebratory or casual — and welcomes visitors of all ages to engage with dynamic exhibitions, captivating films and educationally enriching events.
