Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Program

The CIA credential is the only globally accepted designation for internal auditors. It is the standard by which internal auditing professionals demonstrate their competency and professionalism in the internal auditing field. While there are self-study options available for those preparing for the CIA exam, Emory's CIA program combines printed materials, online tests and resources, and in-class instruction. Our program prepares you for the exam by utilizing The IIA's CIA Learning System, which is the comprehensive professional development and Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) exam preparation curriculum, and is delivered by experienced auditing instructors. The Learning System is built upon the most current version 4.0 of The IIA's CIA Learning System.

The Emory CIA program is composed of three modular-based courses designed to prepare participants for success on the three part CIA exam. The program utilizes enriched educational experience, most current information and business tools that are immediately applicable in any organization or business environment.
