Bobbi Kornblit, author, journalist and educator, is a professional writer who appreciates the fine points of the English language. She has presented the principles of grammar and punctuation at workshops, including "Grammar for Writers" at the Georgia Writers Association annual symposium in May 2006. This award-winning writer has created plays, novels, short stories and poetry. Her short stories have been published in several anthologies. She received first place for fiction for "All Choked Up" in Lessons Learned: Volume II in 2005, and "Test Results" was the winner of a short story contest for the Georgia Writers Association. Her poetry was published in 2004 in O' Georgia! A Collection of Georgia's Newest and Most Promising Writers. As a freelance journalist, Bobbi covers the fun side of life–the arts, food and travel for local and national publications. She is a regular contributing writer for Atlanta Intown and the Decatur Dispatch. She is a member of the Atlanta Press Club, Georgia Writers Association and the KSU Graduate Writers Association. Bobbi has served in numerous volunteer positions at the High Museum of Art, including Co-chair of the Board of Advisors of the Photo Forum support group for the museum's Department of Photography. She is also active with the Alliance Theatre Guild.
Bobbi Kornblit holds a Master of Arts in Professional Writing degree from the Department of English at Kennesaw State University. She studied editing, journalism, fiction, academic and business writing. Bobbi graduated summa cum laude with a B.A in Fine Arts from University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
