Z. Ali Kazmi is a Senior PMO Manager with ThyssenKrupp, a German Conglomerate. He’s a certified results-driven Management and Information Technology professional with over eighteen years of experience in multiple industries including Health Care, Financial Services, Government, Engineering, Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology and Consulting Services. He’s well versed in major current technologies and Project Management methodologies. Over the last many years Mr. Kazmi has led multiple complex implementations to fruition in US, Canada and Europe. He has also been involved in establishing new Program Management Offices (PMO) from scratch, as well as elevating the standard of existing PMO's. He is the recipient of Certificate of Excellence from the Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal, for leading the FEMA Disaster Recovery Project, where he led the IBM, Dell, AT&T and Georgia Technology Authority teams.
Teaching comes naturally to him and he has taught different courses, including Project Management and Methodologies, Project Cost and Budget Management, Management of Global Projects, Microsoft Network Operating System and Network Technology and Service Integration. Mr. Kazmi always makes an effort to bring the best of both worlds to his class, by blending business world experiences with theory.
