As a nurse, (Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified), Elizabeth provided patient care on a medical-telemetry unit. Having a desire to be proactive in health and realizing many of the chronic diseases were a result of lifestyle and chronic stress, she trained at Duke Integrative Medicine to become a Certified Integrative Health Coach. She is also Nurse Coach Board Certified (AHNCC). She has experience with employee health screenings and wellness programs that offered regular coaching sessions to support participants to achieve their health goals. She enjoys coaching individuals as they create lifestyle shifts for optimal wellness. Having completed the Institute for Functional Medicine Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) course, she is familiar with Functional Medicine principles, diagnostic labs, and interventions. She is a registered yoga teacher and completed Mind Body Solutions Adapting Yoga for Disability Level I and Integrating Yogic Principles into Healthcare Delivery.
