Certificate Process

  1. Enroll in either the Fundamentals of Graphic Design Certificate Program and/or the Advanced Graphic Design Certificate Program. Please note that the Fundamentals Certificate is a prerequisite for the Advanced Certificate. Program enrollment is free and will enable you to receive all relevant communications regarding the program.
  2. Once you have enrolled in the appropriate program, you may now sign up for the individual courses as your schedule permits. For students completing the Fundamentals Certificate, click HERE to view the upcoming courses. For students completing the Advanced Certificate, click HERE to view the upcoming courses.

All certificate classes are open enrollment and you can start at any time.

Students in the Fundamentals of Graphic Design Certificate are required to complete:

  • Foundations of Graphic Design & Production
  • Photoshop Level 1: Introduction
  • Illustrator Level 1: Introduction
  • InDesign Level 1: Introduction
  • InDesign Level 2: Intermediate

* Please note that all courses in the Fundamentals of Graphic Design Certificate require exams

Students in the Advanced Graphic Design Certificate are required to complete:

  • Photoshop Level 2: Intermediate
  • Illustrator Level 2: Intermediate
  • Advanced Graphic Design: Theory & Practice
  • Graphic Design Capstone

During the 10 week capstone course, students will complete an independent graphic design project while also attending online class sessions for guidance along the way. Enrollment in the capstone class requires successful completion of all required classes in the Advanced Graphic Design Certificate.
