Emory Test Preparation Student Testimonials
Don't take our word for it. Check out what previous students have to say...
Dr. Stewart,
I took your Emory GRE prep course, and I wanted to thank you for how helpful it was. On my first practice test I scored 490 on verbal and 410 on math, for a total of 900. Coming to your class, following the assigned book, and then studying two or three hours a day for about a month, I was able to score on the actual test 670 on verbal and 640 on math, for a total of 1310. (And this while I was sick with a nasty head cold!)
The score certainly puts me in the running for all of the programs to which I am applying, so it was more than worth the time and money spent.
Thanks so much again. All your advice was spot on. (And your humorous approach did a great deal to make GRE study tolerable!)

Dear Dr. Stewart,
I took your class in May, and then took the GRE July 27th. I just wanted to contact you to thank you for all of your help. I got my score report today and got a 710 in verbal (98th percentile), an 800 in quantitative (94th percentile) and a 6.0 in the analytical writing (98th percentile). Thank you again for your help. I just wanted to let you know.
Best wishes,
Joanna M.
Hi Professor Stewart,
I wanted to let you know that I took the GRE yesterday and saw a MASSIVE improvement!!!
On my first exam I scored a 470 in verbal and a 310 in math. Yesterday I scored a 560 in verbal and a 550 in math!!! I even ran out of time and had to guess on the last 3 or 4 math problems, but at least this time around my guesses were based on the tactics we learned for elimination.
So, in short I wanted to thank you again for helping to raise my score!

Dr. Stewart,
I was in your GRE class this July/August, and I took the test this morning.
I don't know my scores for the writing section yet, but on the verbal section I got 680 and on the quantitative section I got 720. That's quite an improvement from the diagnostic test we took on the first day of class (I got 560 on verbal and 490 on quantitative). Thank you for your help!
I did a lot of studying on my own, but I would have never known where to start without the guidance of the class."

Good news! The director of admissions called me with the good news and even quoted parts of my
admissions essay back to me, saying what an asset my "copy editor’s eagle eye" would be to the program. Many, many thanks to you for helping me craft my essay and improve my GMAT score
by 170 points!
Thanks again!
Debra A.
Devin's course most certainly maintains my endorsement. I ended up scoring V 710 and M 680, an almost 200 point increase in both sections. Meaning of course that my overall was a 1390, up 360 points from my diagnostic at the beginning of Devin's class. These scores are certainly sufficient to be reviewed for doctoral work at top tier schools. I just wanted to send my feedback and thanks.
