About the Instructors
Devin Stewart has been teaching at Emory University since 1990. He is an expert on standardized tests, and scored 800 on both the verbal and math sections of the GRE, and has taught test prep courses for more than 20 years with a proven record of helping students improve their scores dramatically on the SAT, GRE, LSAT, and GMAT tests. Devin is also familiar with the ins-and-outs of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school admissions, and can help you increase your chances of admission to your top choice schools by avoiding common application pitfalls and mistakes.
Eduardo Paguaga has ten years of experience teaching LSAT preparation, including more than three years with a top-two test-prep firm in New York City and in Atlanta. He received his B.A. from Columbia University, and is currently writing his doctoral dissertation here at Emory University.
Gregg E. Shapiro obtained his Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Emory University. He grew up in New York City, is a graduate of Colgate University, and is currently a Senior Systems Analyst at Accenture Technology Solutions. He began teaching the GRE Math class for the Evening at Emory program in 1995 and has taught GRE Math sessions each summer for the past 5 years for the UNCF Mellon scholarship summer program.
Mark Alavi, CPA, MBA, Georgia State University; BBA in Accounting, Georgia State University. Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in States of Georgia and California; member, American Institute of Certified Public Accountant ("AICPA"), member Georgia Society of CPA's ("GSCPA"). He has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education since receiving his license to practice public accounting - these subjects include accounting, auditing, forensic accounting, financial planning, taxation and ethics.
