A continuation of a Fall course on the medieval Arthurian tradition, this course surveys modern treatments of the myth. Four novels (please get these as soon as possible and read them ahead of time, if possible): Mark Twain, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court; John Steinbeck, Tortilla Flat; Walker Percy, Lancelot; Robertson Davies, The Lyre of Orpheus. Fall 2013 Arthurian Tradition class is a pre-requisite!
