Spanish language courses

Spanish 101

Learning Spanish can open your horizons to a new culture, a new way of thinking, and a new way of experiencing life in general.

This course will provide participants with the skills necessary for good Spanish pronunciation, the ability to converse by greeting people, identifying themselves and others. Participants will develop a broad vocabulary to adequately communicate their likes and dislikes and to use verbs in present tense. Class members will also learn how to talk about time, schedules and days of the week.

The textbook for this course is also used for Spanish 102 and Spanish 103. Limited to 25. Textbook is not included in tuition. Spanish 102

This course is designed to make participants more confident in their ability to start communicating in Spanish. Class members will learn how to be able to converse about their favorite sports and their favorite pastimes. They will also be able to talk about the clothing they want to buy and convey their taste in clothing. The vocabulary as well as the new verbs learned during this course will enable the participants to have a good sentence structure and a better understanding of the language.

Spanish 103

Going deeper into the ability to communicate in another language requires more vocabulary. Learning to communicate effectively is only possible as one learns to utilize vocabulary and linguistic skills to become a better conversationalist.

The purpose of this course is to continue to deepen the students’ ability to communicate not only more clearly and precisely, but also on a personal level as well. This course is a must for those who want to go beyond the basics of communication in Spanish.
