Adobe Illustrator training courses: improve your production capabilities by creating a variety of different media including illustrations, package designs, leaflets and flyers, web graphics and animations, billboards, and many other graphic objects.

Adobe Illustrator Level 1: Introduction

Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard tool for creating logos, maps, diagrams, vector illustrations, and more. In this class, you’ll learn to understand the appropriate uses for Illustrator, the difference between vector and raster graphics, and how to create complex graphics with simple components and tools.

This book and its exercise files are made specifically for the CC2017 software used in our computer labs and may not be compatible with older versions of the software. The instructor can provide backwards-compatible files upon request.

After this class, you will be able to:
  1. Create and modify artboards
  2. Use the drawing tools
  3. Combine simple objects into complex shapes
  4. Rotate, scale and reshape objects
  5. Draw organic shapes with the Pen and Pencil tools
  6. Create, use, and edit colors
  7. Work with text
  8. Create a PDF and submit work to a commercial printer

Adobe Illustrator Level 2: Intermediate

In the Illustrator Level 2 course, you will strengthen your production and illustration skills by working on real-world projects, such as creating a logo, building a package, and creating photorealistic illustrations. You'll see how simple tools, such as gradients and shadows, can add depth and realism to simple objects.
