Portuguese language courses.
Portuguese 101
Learn how to communicate in Portuguese, and to understand what is being said or written in this language. Portuguese is spoken in eight countries: Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor. Even though the basics of the language are the same in each of these settings, the instructor will teach Portuguese as it is spoken in Brazil. Tuition includes textbook.
After this class, you will be able to:
Introduce yourself in Portuguese, telling your name, nationality and profession
Talk about your family, where you live, where you were born, when it is your birthday, how the weather is, what time it is
Ask directions and talk about food preferences

Improve your knowledge and increase your vocabulary in this continuation of Portuguese I. Previous students may re-take this course twice before moving on to Portuguese III. You will learn more about the Brazilian culture through songs and other audiovisual materials. Start to read and to write in Portuguese, and practice situations you might encounter as a traveler in Brazil. Tuition includes textbook.
