Who should take the Business Communications Certificate?

Managers, supervisors and individual contributors who could benefit from more effective business communications should consider this certificate. In addition, the following groups should consider the program: small and medium-sized business owners and entrepreneurs, undergraduate and graduate students for whom business communication skills are important to professional goals and career changers who could benefit from improved business communication skills.

Do any discounts apply to this program?

Yes, we offer standard discounts for Emory faculty, staff, students and alumni. We also offer discounts to military service members and their families – active duty and veterans. Multiple discounts do not apply.

How long does it take to complete the Business Communications Certificate?

Most students can complete the program in 9 to 12 months. However, you have up to 18-months to complete the program if needed. You should maintain contact with your program advisor as your complete your course work.

Will classes I have already taken count towards my certificate?

Yes, if you have already completed required or electives classes through Emory Continuing Education.

When does the program start?

You may begin the program as soon as any of the Core or Elective courses are offered. Classes can be completed in any sequence.
